Good things take time.

Patience is a virtue.

I was told this as a young man, but have learned that patience is a necessity when producing a quality product. My second book, Occupied, is testing my patience and my lack of understanding about how things work in the publishing world has often felt like an anchor slowing things down.

Fortunately I was given good advice and hired the right people who now make up Team Occupied. All of them have been very patient with me and have taken the time to explain why their step is important to the process and how what they do is intertwined with the work of others. Armed with this information I now realize that there is not an anchor slowing me down—I was just tired of rowing. With Team Occupied’s help, I am re-energized and will deliver a quality book for your enjoyment.

The new release date for Occupied (that will not move again) is April 9th 2019. This date gives me enough time to complete everything for the release and also coincides with the 79th anniversary of the German invasion of Norway. It will be worth the wait. Have you signed up to pre-order yet?

    Hi Mr. Blorstad,
Let me introduce myself: I am a graduate of Springbrook 1980, (maiden name McKneely). I was known as “that artist girl” under the careful tutorage of Mr. Tucker. I won a Gold Key Award and an honorable mention in the Scholastic Art Competition. I’ve owned and ran two businesses with my husband Steven, had three wonderful children, and enjoy 2 grandkids and two on the way. I’ve experienced a lot and have met some very interesting characters along the way.. In my lifetime I continue to stay as active as possible. I write poetry and have kept journals for over 30 years. I have so many, that I think that there may be a few stories in there somewhere! I am writing to you to ask for advice in getting my poems and stories out in the “real” world. Any information that you would like to share with me would be gladly appreciated! Thank you for your time.

Kathy, I would be glad to talk to you about what I have learned of the self publishing world.
